Cubs have money-why do you treat them as paupers.Ownership need to be smarter when dealing with free agents and trades.First class organizations need to act like one.

They certainly seem like paupers this offseason but expensive J-Hey, expensive Darvish, future Baez, future KB, future Rizzo, etc contracts are all being planned out in their minds so this is what sadly happens.

Totally agree. You have to plan ahead for all those big contracts that will be coming up in the next few years like the players you named & Contreras also. Unless some of these names will be future trade pieces.
